The newer Umai location! Its so much bigger and nicer than the Herndon location! A larger bar, lots of indoor seating, and a good mix of booth and table seating. Service is wonderful as well, our servers were very attentive and kind. This location also has a larger menu, is more classic Japanese favorites! We really enjoyed the Tonkotsu Ramen and Tonkatsu Rice, and I feel like their portions are pretty big?!!! My partner and I agreed this location is a new favorite! Random - they really went all out on Halloween decorations! Love it!

I've been here twice now and I cannot reccomend it enough. Everything I've had here has been amazing (besides the uni because I don't like it personally) both food and drink. If you can drink the Lychee Yuzu Sake and Midnight Henada are genuinely delicious despite their alcohol content. The decor here is also beautiful.

Wow, last night was truly special! We had the exclusive VIP experience at Umai Ramen & Donburi, and it was unforgettable. From the special chef’s menu to the world-class service, delicious drinks, and authentic atmosphere everything was outstanding. If you love authentic Japanese food, I highly recommend checking this place out. A must-visit!
